Sometimes I, Sometimes you
Sometimes
we’re happy being together.
You smile when you see me.
We wave hello to each other.
Sometimes
Sometimes
We’re upset, and work on each other’s nerves
You frown when you see me.
We don’t even speak.
Sometimes
Sometimes
I lay on my back,
and tease myself with dreams.
Where you’re laying naked in a garden full of daffodils.
Sometimes
Sometimes
I stand alone in a corner
and think about every wicked thing
that you’ve ever said to me.
Sometimes
Sometimes
I let you control the situation.
By listening,
and humbling myself to your every will.
Sometimes
Sometimes
I take control,
an interrupt your every sentence.
Disregarding
every feeling
you may have or intended to.
Sometimes
Sometimes
When the sun’s glimmering
I touch you.
On womanly places.
Sometimes
Sometimes
When it’s raining,
I yell and scream at you.
As if you were a man.
Sometimes
Sometimes
There’s happy moments,
and sometimes there isn’t.
But one thing that’ll always be,
is that I’ll never grow tired of being with you
